How to reach us

Email support@usapsdletter.com. We are an online service, so email is our only contact channel; we do not have a phone line or a walk-in office. Writing to us also gives you a record of your request and our reply, which can be useful if you later need to show a housing provider what was issued and when.

Please send each new question as a reply in the same email thread when you can. That keeps your history in one place.

What to include in your email

A few details help us find your booking and answer accurately. Please do not send detailed medical information by email; your clinician will discuss clinical matters with you directly.

  • The full name and email address you used to book
  • Your state
  • A short description of what you need help with
  • For letter corrections, exactly what needs to change (for example, a misspelled name or the wrong dog's name)
  • For verification requests from a housing provider, the name on the letter and the date it was issued

What we can help with

Housing providers who want to confirm a letter can also check the clinician's license number with the issuing state's licensing board. The letter lists the clinician's name, license type, license number, issuing state and the date.

  • Booking, rescheduling or questions about the evaluation
  • Getting a copy of your issued letter
  • Correcting an error on your letter
  • Billing and refund questions under our refund policy
  • Confirming that a letter was issued by one of our clinicians
  • Privacy requests about your personal information

Privacy requests

You can email us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of your records, or to ask us to correct information that is wrong. Please write from the email address you used to book so we can confirm it is you before we share anything.

Our privacy policy and notice of privacy practices explain how we use and protect your information and what rights you have. If you believe your health privacy rights were violated, you can contact us and you can also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Response times

We read every message and reply in the order received. If your question is about an upcoming move-in date or a flight, say so in your subject line so we can see the timing. If you have not heard back, check your spam folder before writing again, since replies sometimes land there.

What we can't help with by email

We cannot give legal advice about a specific dispute with a landlord, airline or business. For those, the federal agencies that enforce the law are the right place to go.

If a business turned your service dog away, the Department of Justice's ADA.gov explains your rights under the ADA. If a housing provider denied your request, HUD's May 2026 enforcement guidance explains how it assesses assistance animal requests, and HUD accepts fair housing complaints. For air travel, the U.S. Department of Transportation explains airline service animal rules and how to file a complaint.

Crisis support

Our inbox is not monitored around the clock and is not a crisis service. If you are thinking about harming yourself or feel unsafe, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day, or chat at 988lifeline.org. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.

Quick answers before you write

Many common questions are answered on our FAQ page, including pricing ($149 for 1–2 dogs, $229 for 3 dogs), what happens if you are not approved (you pay nothing), and why a letter is not needed for stores or restaurants. Our how-it-works page walks through booking step by step.

If you are a housing provider with a question about a letter, please include the date on the letter and the name it was issued to. We will confirm whether we issued it, and we will not share a person's health information without their authorization.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a phone number?

No. We handle all support by email at support@usapsdletter.com.

How do I get a copy of my letter?

Email us from the address you booked with and ask for a copy; we will send it to that address.

There's a mistake on my letter. What should I do?

Email us with exactly what needs to change. Errors on our part are corrected, as described in our refund policy.

I'm a landlord. Can you confirm a letter is real?

You can check the clinician's license with the issuing state's board, and you can email us to confirm we issued it. We won't share health details without the person's authorization.

Can you help me with a dispute with my landlord or airline?

We can't give legal advice. HUD handles fair housing complaints, and the U.S. Department of Transportation handles airline service animal complaints.

What if I need help right now?

Call or text 988 for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 if anyone is in immediate danger.
